Is it too late to be treated if I think I’m pregnant?
No, it’s not too late. There are ways to lower the risk to your developing baby.
Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and bacterial vaginosis can all be treated during pregnancy.
While genital herpes, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV can’t be cured, there are ways to reduce the risks to the developing baby.
Your health care provider can give you information about treatment and will also recommend STI testing during the early stages of a pregnancy.
